On September 19 and 20, the Georgia Youth Justice Coalition (GYJC) and youth allies organized thousands of students to join a school walkout to demand gun safety in the wake of the Apalachee High School shooting — and to elect gun safety champions up and down the ballot.

Following MVP's grant of $100,000 in political funding to CASA in Action PAC for their electoral work in Georgia (bringing our total 2024 commitment to $275,000), we received this message from them: "This is not only amazing support, but also super timely as we are slated to make some big decisions about scaling up/scaling back our program, so this is hugely valuable.
