MVP has hired the architects of the Minnesota Model to help us optimize our strategy and support our local partners to translate this incredible model to states across the country – and over time to the national level. 

We don’t want to overpromise. The Minnesota Model took 10 years, and some of the circumstances there were unique. Every state will have a different trajectory. But we are working with the best architects of state transformation in the country. 

We have a big, exciting vision that could begin to bear fruit as early as 2026 – with a Democratic trifecta in Virginia, and in 2027 when we target our top seven perennial battleground states – from Arizona to Michigan – to fight for Democratic trifectas with a mandate to govern boldly. 

We need these states to be a bulwark against Trumpism, and demonstrations of the kind of people-powered politics we are working to create at the national level.
