MVP partners were instrumental in winning key state-level victories in 2020, 2022, and 2024. By investing now to build on these wins, we can guard states from regressive policies, advance good policies, and build Democratic and progressive power in ways that have national implications.
Spotlight: VA and PA
Two of our highest priorities for November 2025 are as follows:
- Virginia: Win a bold, Democratic trifecta that can deliver real progress.
- Pennsylvania: Protect Democrats’ 5-2 majority on the State Supreme Court by retaining all three Democratic justices on the ballot.

- California to win a ballot initiative that could save five net Democratic U.S. House seats from GOP gerrymandering efforts across the country.
- New York City to elect Zohran Mamdani as mayor - and elevate one of the Democrats’ most effective communicators and champions of a wildly popular affordability agenda.
- New Jersey to protect the governor’s seat from GOP takeover.
- Georgia to win two Public Service Commission races with big climate implications, plus municipal races across this crucial swing state.
- Other states like AZ, ME, MI, MN, MT, NH, NM, NC, each with elections that will help us build political power from the bottom up and set the stage for bigger wins next year and beyond.
