Get Involved with a Volunteer Hub

MVP Hubs organize donors to build ongoing support for MVP in their area or network. Learn more »

Take on a Volunteer Role

Volunteers help keep our work moving and support the growth of the movement. These roles support the hundreds of house party fundraisers people host that raise millions of dollars for our partners each cycle.

Please fill out the Volunteer Intake Form to learn more.

We are not currently training new presenters, coordinators, and Zoom managers.

Please contact volunteer@movement.vote with questions.

Spread the Word about MVP

Quick steps you can take:

Get Free MVP Swag

Get MVP yard signs, t-shirts, thank-you cards, and more — all free of charge! — to help spread the word about MVP and build our movement of donors and supporters.

How it works:

  • Go to https://swag.movement.vote
  • Create an account using your email.
  • Review the instructions page.
  • Place your order! No payment required.
  • All volunteer orders are reviewed and approved by MVP staff.

Eligibility

Note: For budget reasons, our Swag Portal is only for MVP supporters who already have a specific volunteer role (e.g. Hub Core Team, House Party Host, Thank-You Card Writer, etc). If you haven’t plugged into a volunteer role yet, you can check out yard signs, bumper stickers, or more in our public Merch Shop.

Volunteer Resources

What *is* donor organizing?

Drawing from Marshall Ganz’s organizing framework, we view it as identifying, recruiting, and developing the leadership of donors; building community around those donors; and building power out of that community to fund our work.

MVP Communications resources

Use the following resources to support your MVP donor organizing efforts:

  • Brand Book: A guide to help you communicate on behalf of MVP in a way that aligns with our brand strategy.
  • Logos: Official MVP logo files you can use in a variety of contexts.
  • Templates (Google Docs + Google Slide decks)
  • Photos: Publicly usable photos from our grantee partners.
  • Communications Calendar: A calendar of planned MVP public communications. Note: All items, details, and dates are subject to change.
