FAQAbout MVPUpdated May 8, 2026

What kinds of organizations does MVP fund?

We invest in groups doing year-round organizing, electoral work, and advocacy to shift culture, win power, and shape policy at every level — with a strong emphasis on organizing working-class communities of all races.

We focus on local organizations rooted in their community, led by people who reflect that community and those most impacted by the injustices we seek to transform. These include:

  • Established organizations and both issue- and constituency-specific networks.
  • Emerging organizations that are engaging in electoral work for the first time.
  • Nascent groups recently formed or on the cusp of launching.

We have built an extensive database of 500+ movement groups involved in voter engagement and turnout, and we are constantly scouting for additional groups alongside our in-house advisors and movement partners.
