As Southern Regional Field Director at MVP, Jillian supports the work of over 60 grassroots partners across the region that are doing the critical work of building a more equitable, just, and sustainable South. She is passionate about building community and supporting strategic collaborations that allow our partners to go further together and achieve their dreams.
Her experience includes 20 years of work in operations and development in the nonprofit sector, including co-founding Southern Vision Alliance and Durham for All. She also served on the Durham City Council from 2015 – 2023 as an at-large representative. In her free time, she enjoys tabletop and video games, fancy cocktails, dancing, and cuddling babies. She lives in Durham’s West End neighborhood with a friendly and eclectic collection of humans, dogs, cats, and chickens.
