What is an MVP hub?
An MVP volunteer hub is a team that is dedicated to working towards supporting MVP's mission of funding the frontline organizations working to shift culture, win power, and shape policy. Hubs are made up of volunteers who take on a variety of roles with the ultimate mission of raising funds for MVP partners.
How do I start my own hub?
Get familiar with MVP
Before you start building your own hub, we encourage you to get familiar with MVP. You can learn about MVP's theory of change and lens towards funding basebuilding by joining an MVP 101. Check it out here.
Map out your own network
We recommend starting out by thinking of your personal network and consider what you want to ask them to be part of. Here is a guide for thinking about your personal network. We recommend starting out with a team of no less than 3.
Plan your actions
Consider what you want to do. This can be taking on planning a house party or starting by thanking donors.
