Healthcare Leaders for Democracy is a volunteer-led initiative of healthcare professionals in support of the Movement Voter Project (MVP).
Mission Statement
We strive to create a future in which our elected leaders support our democracy and do what is necessary to ensure high-quality, affordable and accessible healthcare for everyone in our country.
To achieve this, we raise funds for Movement Voter Project. MVP funds local organizing and movement-building groups that are working to shift culture, win power, and shape policy. MVP operates like a “mutual fund” for political giving by raising money from donors, then channeling it toward the most impactful community organizations and power-building work around the country.
When we elect the right leaders — and hold them accountable to pass robust social, economic, and healthcare policies — we will gain the health outcomes we need and deserve.
