2026 Electoral Targets
We are investing in every major federal and downballot race this year, with an eye toward winning a bold, federal Democratic trifecta in 2028.
Electoral Objective
Flip the House
Why: A Democratic House can block MAGA bills, stop the dismantling of federal agencies, influence federal spending, launch investigations, issue subpoenas, file lawsuits, and more.
How: To flip the House (currently a 219-212 GOP majority), MVP is investing in year-round organizing in 58 swing districts across 23 states.
Electoral Objective
Swing for the Senate
Why: Flipping the Senate would help us stop the MAGA agenda, block judicial (and possibly Supreme Court) appointments, and increase our odds of a Democratic trifecta in 2028.
How: To flip the Senate (currently a 53-47 GOP majority), MVP is investing in year-round organizing in 12 competitive Senate states, so we can defend four vulnerable Democratic seats and flip eight GOP seats.

Prepare to Win 2028
2028 will likely be decided in the same seven states as 2024. MVP is scaling up year-round organizing in these battlegrounds now, electing the candidates who can win back the voters we lost, and paving the way for a powerful Democratic comeback.
