Can I target my donation to a specific group, state, or area of focus?
Because political conditions, opportunities, and budget gaps are constantly changing, we recommend giving through MVP.
Think of yourself as an “investor” in long-term social progress. In this context, MVP is like a “mutual fund” for your giving. We raise money from donors, then channel it toward the most impactful organizations and power-building work around the country.
Instead of “playing the stocks” yourself, use MVP to invest in an optimally “diversified portfolio” that can ultimately yield the highest returns.
That said, we are happy to direct restricted gifts of $25,000 and more to specific states or areas of focus. Targeted smaller contributions may also be made directly to grantee partners.
