Lenix Pecikonis
As the Capacity Building Tech Strategist at MVP, Lenix supports MVP’s movement partners in coordinating and supporting their technology and data needs.
Lenix plays a unique role in identifying gaps and the best tools to support our partners while organizing for justice in their communities. Lenix loves using data for good and texting with voters, is passionate about voting rights, reproductive freedom, adamantly pro-trans rights, and creating communities where everyone thrives.
Their experience includes transforming deep canvassing models into simple SMS surveys identifying persuadable voters and increasing turnout, managing a national endorsement program endorsing over 635 candidates, and electing over 200 pro-choice champions to state and local offices all over the country. They’ve also served as a communications director for #VOTEPROCHOICE, Democracy for America, Brave New Films, Stonewall Democrats, and statewide equality groups.
Lenix is a proud cat dad and plant parent currently residing with their wife in Sacramento, California which is Patwin, Nisenan, Miwok native land. Outside of work, Lenix serves as Vice President of the Movement Cooperative and as a board member for the Lavender Library. They are a passionate women’s basketball enthusiast, and an avid hiker who curates hikes that get people to reconnect with themselves and the environment. Last year they hiked the Half Dome in Yosemite.
