In her role as Data & Knowledge Coordinator, Julie’s focus is to ensure that MVP staff understand and make the best use of technology products, tools, and data systems.
As the primary steward of MVP’s knowledge management system, Julie collaborates with team members across the organization to document processes and systems in a central knowledge base.
With over a decade of information management and adult learning facilitation work in non-profit settings, Julie is particularly motivated to connect people with information they need to make informed decisions and participate in society.
Before MVP, Julie worked as Quality & Standards Manager and Participant Development Specialist with Cara Collective. She received her B.S. in Media Studies and M.S. in Library and Information Sciences from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana.
Julie is a first generation Chinese American who lives with her husband and dog in her hometown of Chicago, IL. Running, biking, cooking, tracking down a good slice of pizza, and spending time in nature all bring her great joy.
