Alison Egbers
Assistant Deputy to the Executive Director
As Assistant Deputy, Alison supports our Executive Director in connecting the dots of MVP’s big picture, strategic priorities, and everything in between. As a macro social worker with an organizer’s heart, Alison believes that trauma-informed systems build transformational power, and she’s excited to help optimize the infrastructure that keeps MVP running.
With nearly a decade of experience spanning grassroots organizing, nonprofit fundraising, and community-centered advocacy, she has witnessed the impact of long-term investment in movement-building. Before joining MVP, Alison worked with the Colorado Reproductive Health, Rights & Justice Coalition, where she played a key role in passing Amendment 79, a ballot measure that expanded abortion access in the state Constitution.
Alison started organizing as an undergraduate in Colorado Springs, where she advocated for gender-neutral bathrooms and helped triple membership in the queer and trans alliance. Originally corn-fed in Iowa and now rooted in Colorado, Alison has called the Front Range her home for the past 11 years.
