Get Involved with a Volunteer Hub

MVP Washington Hub, living their best life at their “Dance for Democracy” fundraiser for MVP
What does an MVP Volunteer Hub do?
Hubs organize donors to build community and ongoing support for MVP in their area or professional or alumni network, by:
- Teaming up and building community around MVP’s work.
- Educating donors about MVP and our local partner organizations’ work.
- Most importantly, fundraising for MVP and our local partners in their networks.

Local Hubs
Bay Area
MVP has a team of volunteers located in the Bay Area who are focused on hosting house parties – both in person and virtually, as well as spreading the word throughout the area.
DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) Area
We’ve held local house parties in the capital region for years. In 2024 we ramped up to build year-round donor organizing and community.
Atlanta Area / Georgia
Our first and only “purple state” Hub, the Atlanta Hub was launched in 2024 and is a small, mighty, and growing community of donor activists connected to local to state to national work.
Massachusetts
MVP was founded in Massachusetts and has a broad network in the state which includes two of our longest standing volunteer hubs:
-
Eastern Massachusetts (Greater Boston Area)
-
Western Massachusetts
Washington
Our Washington hub of volunteers have been well established since 2019. Join their fundraising, event planning, and volunteer community.
National Donor Network
This hub connects and supports volunteers and hosts anywhere and everywhere, outside and beyond our local Hubs.
Affinity Hubs
Healthcare Leaders for Democracy (HL4D)
In 2022, a group of healthcare leaders decided that they wanted to band together to fundraise for MVP. They are on a roll hosting events and raising money. HL4D is geared up for a wonderful event featuring Dr. Atul Gawande on September 4! RSVP here >
Legal Community for Democracy
In 2024, Legal Community for Democracy launched their first house party in January raising over $30,000. They are building and bringing in networks of lawyers.
