How much of my donation goes toward fees and overhead?

Transaction Fees

MVP recommends giving by credit card for gifts up to $5,000. All credit card donations are processed via ActBlue and are subject to ActBlue’s 3.95% processing fee, which includes all credit card fees. 

ActBlue is a trusted not-for-profit partner that allows us to process gifts efficiently and move funds quickly to their destination.

Overhead

100% of Movement Voter Project’s (MVP) administrative and development overhead, after transaction fees, is covered by a committed group of very generous donors who deeply believe in MVP and expanding our model.

When you support MVP today, 100% of your contribution goes to support MVP’s hundreds of local partner organizations with financial and capacity-building support, as well as MVP’s state-based advising and expertise that directly supports local partner organizations across the country.
