Virtual Event ⸱ Zoom link shared after registration

Join Movement Voter Project for a free 90-minute interactive workshop about how to plan your giving in a time of increasing crises that threaten our democracy, our freedoms, and our future.

This workshop is for you if:

  • You are eager to support democracy and social justice and curious to understand how community organizing, social movements, and civic action fit in.
  • You feel stuck or overwhelmed in how you think about your giving, or like you’re always in reactive mode.
  • You are looking for a supportive, community-oriented space to learn from experienced philanthropic advisors and plan some next steps.

We will hear from like-minded donors about how they think about giving money, and how they have made intentional, values-centered plans for their personal giving during these times of uncertainty. We’ll hear from social justice fundraisers, money coaches, and MVP staff about different types of giving to support the kinds of work that will make the most strategic impact right now. We will share concrete tools for planning your giving that you can use and share with others.

This event is open to all and is most suited for people seeking advice on how to most strategically give between $1,000 to $100,000 to social change causes and organizations this year. Please invite anyone who would benefit from this conversation.
