From the Revolutionary War to the Civil War to Today. Join MVP’s volunteer-led Legal Community for Democracy and Authors, Artists and Educators for Democracy to hear from Ken Burns and others about what we need to do now to win the 2026 midterms and beat back authoritarianism.

Featured speakers:

  • Famed documentary filmmaker Ken Burns, producer of the recent series “The American Revolution.”
  • MVP Southern Regional Director Jillian Johnson who will share about MVP's work to win the midterms and build for the long haul.

You will also hear about the hundreds of grassroots organizers who are mobilizing community members, organizing rapid-response teams, engaging voters, participating in lawsuits, and pressuring lawmakers to stand up to MAGA extremism.

This event is co-hosted by Legal Community for Democracy (LC4D) and Authors, Artists and Educators for Democracy (AAE4D), both volunteer-led initiatives in support of Movement Voter Project.
