Seattle Dance for Democracy 2026

Are you ready to help protect democracy by fundraising for the 2026 midterms? Do you like to dance?

On Saturday, May 16, 2026, a group of passionate, fun-loving democracy advocates from Seattle, Olympia, and greater Western Washington will come together for a Dance for Democracy — a fundraiser dance-a-thon benefiting Movement Voter Project and its grassroots partners.

Our goal is to raise at least $125,000 for MVP in the countdown to the 2026 midterms, with each dancer raising at least $500. Then we'll celebrate with an incredible dance party in Seattle, DJ'd by Jyoti B. Fly of KEXP's Wo'Pop.

Sign up to be a dancer and we'll send you everything you need to get started — a personalized fundraising link, email and social media templates for reaching out to potential sponsors, and a spreadsheet for tracking donations. You'll reach out to your friends, family, and community to recruit sponsors to donate to MVP. Our dance coaches will support you every step of the way. See the FAQ on our website for more details.
