Speakers:
- Billy Wimsatt, MVP Founder & Executive Director, will give a brief overview of MVP’s unique role to play in reshaping the new media and digital landscape.
- Rynn Reed, MVP’s new Strategic Media Advisor, will present MVP’s framework, strategy, and vision in this area, as well as a summary of early investments, findings, and next steps.
- JaNaé Bates at Faith in Minnesota (an MVP grantee partner) will tell the story of the Narrative Justice League, a statewide coalition whose groundbreaking new-media organizing has helped transform Minnesota’s media narratives, power structures, and policies.
- Jenifer Fernandez Ancona & Glennis Meagher at Way to Rise (an MVP national peer funder and partner) will share their recent work to elevate narratives in support of civil resistance to authoritarianism.
