Jane is a writer, editor, and political organizer who lives in Brooklyn, New York. Originally from Chicago, she attended the University of California, Santa Cruz, and has called NYC home for almost 20 years. In her writing career, Jane has produced content for major entities, agencies, and events such as Rockefeller Center, Red Bull, YouTube, the Guggenheim, Coachella, the Brooklyn Flea, and the City of New York; as a journalist she has been published by NPR, NY Post, Time Out, New York Magazine, and dozens more. Her concentration has always been on social justice issues, art and culture, and food and travel. Jane is also the organizer of BK Swappers, a Brooklyn-based larder swap and food-community gathering. The 2016 election galvanized her as a philanthropist and organizer, inspiring her to both be more generous in her own political giving and motivate others to do the same. Jane joined the team at Movement Voter Project in early 2019, and works with donors and volunteers in NYC and across the country.
